It can surely be said I am a Georgia boy. I am proud that I attended all Georgia public schools. My family arrived in West Georgia just after the civil war. My father and grandfather worked at the now shuttered Ford plant in Hapeville, Ga.
You can remember me easily as the “tall red-headed doctor” and because my initials are MD.
We live in Athens and I have a one daughter in middle school and one in elementary. My wife works in physical therapy / home health. Can’t forget the 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bird. We love to camp and travel and eat all the local and unique foods along the way. We love to see live music whenever we can. I have a growing interest in the field of addiction medicine and volunteer a large portion of my free time in that field.
I love to get my hands dirty in the yard and doing jobs a doctor has no business doing but I just can’t help myself!
